We took our first hike of the Spring this weekend. We ventured up to Chautauqua in Boulder and let me tell you, it was a sloooooow hike. Seren stayed strapped to Mama in the Maya Wrap and Ever switched between her feet and Daddy’s shoulders. She especially enjoyed climbing on big rocks, looking for the mountains (she had a hard time understanding what they were) and finding little baby trees. We completed 1.29 miles in 1hr 22mins.
We’ve been sharing germs since before Christmas now and I have to say, I’m more than over it. I don’t want to jinx it but it seems like we might finally be reaching the other side – the healthy side! Thank goodness, because I could not deal with seeing this little baby feeling all sickie anymore. Not to mention a sick and pregnant mama is not a good one :/
Sweet, sick baby snoozing on her Daddy.
I’m way late with this but that’s what you get for having a baby 9 days before Christmas!
It’s official, she’s two! 9:23… 12/16/2012
A special birthday breakfast of donuts and hot chocolate.
Best shot of the day, look at that face!
Playdough toys were a big hit
Fixing the door handle (she saw daddy replace the door knob a while back and she still remembers)
After presents and breakfast we ventured to the Children’s Museum to let the little lady have some fun.
Ever and Daddy in the bubble room at the museum
Sporting some sweet protective glasses and a stylin’ purple smock
Shopping with her pops
We threw a little dessert party back at the house later in the evening…
And that concludes Dec. 16th 2012. It rocked.
Love you little E! <3
We’ll be meeting babe #2 in the Spring! (see buttons popping)
